During the 2020 Turnaround carried out by Industrial Montaj on the FCC – HPP – MHC – HDV units, we performed the replacement of the regenerator dome & cyclones of the FCC.
The Industrial Montaj teams were responsible for:
- Developing the Detailed Design for the lifting and replacement operations of the Dome, Cyclones, and Air Distributor.
- Transporting the dome from the storage area to the assembly area.
- Dismantling the old dome, cyclones, and air distributor.
- Lifting and installing the new components (150 tons).
- Executing refractory works.
Additional information:
- A 600-ton LR1600/2 crane was used for this operation.
- The work was carried out under the supervision of Honeywell - UOP.
